Facebook, as a phenomenon, is both fascinating and frightening. How does it find people I have known in the past when I have provided almost no information? No birthday, no location, no high school graduation, and no access to my e-mail address book. Still, I have been reconnected with hundreds of people.
As I looked over my “friends” file, I realized a good number are people who only knew me as a teenager or maybe a college student. Anything they read about me or see on my home page will likely be viewed through the only lens they have: me at 17 – 22. Yikes!
I’m not really sure WHY they would even want to connect with that lens!

in the human heart and in our actions!
That lens is a frightening realization. So if you knew me way back when, I hope you can begin to take a step back from the only lens you have and recognize it as simply a view of unhewn rock in a quarry. I was in desperate need of a mason to cut, scrape, and blast away at my character to move me closer to what God has planned for me to become. And please keep in mind – He’s still blasting…
